Bath coach Mike Ford has played down speculation that Sam Burgess will return to rugby league insisting he is staying put in union.
Burgess has been linked to a move back to NRL side the South Sydney Rabbitohs, having previously been rumoured to be heading to Leeds Rhinos in Super League.
He is currently being rested by Bath having made his return to club duty in the first game of the season ten days ago.
Burgess has two years remaining on his Bath contract, and Ford is not concerned about a potential return to league.
"There's always speculation with Sam, unfortunately," Ford told the Bath Chronicle.
"I think most of it is made up.
"There's always a story there and this is the latest one. Two weeks ago they stopped taking bets on him joining Leeds Rhinos and that didn't happen.
"He'll be back training with us on November 2," Ford added. "It will be good for him to get playing at six again, roll his sleeves up and crack on."
