The Western Force have bolstered their backline stocks by signing New Zealand utility backs Tino Nemani and Albert Nikoro on two-year deals.
Nemani played for Bay of Plenty in the recent ITM Cup and also represented the Chiefs and the Highlanders at Super Rugby level. The 23-year-old also played for New Zealand Schoolboys in 2009, and Fiji’s U20s at the 2010 IRB Junior World Championship.
Nikoro, who is 22, was in action in this year’s ITM Cup for Waikato and also made five appearances in the Super Rugby tournament for the Blues.
“Albert and Tino are both fast with the ability to beat defenders,” Force coach Michael Foley told New Zealand’s Newswire.
“Tino is a powerful winger who is very physical both with ball in hand and in defence.
“And while Albert also has a strong running game, he is a goal kicker that can play 13, 15 and wing.”
