Connacht have been handed a boost ahead of facing Toulouse after several of their squad were given the all-clear to return to training.

Denis Buckley sustained a foot injury against Zebre and will be monitored this week by the medical staff up to the Champions Cup fixture.

Ronan Loughney (knee), Quinn Roux (groin), Jake Heenan (knee), Eoghan Masterson (knee), Shane O’Leary (concussion), Jack Carty (knee), Nepia Fox Matamua (chest) and Peter Robb (concussion) have all recovered and will all return to training ahead of Sunday’s pool clash.

Ultan Dillane (ankle) is also progressing well in his rehabilitation and will integrate into partial training this week with the Connacht squad.

Finally, Josh Rowland sustained an injury to his knee playing for the Connacht Eagles at the weekend and will be out for up to two months.
