Former NRL and NFL player Jarryd Hayne is set to make his debut for Fiji at the London leg of the World Sevens Series that will be taking place this weekend at Twickenham.
The 28-year-old recently quit playing for the San Francisco 49ers, where he was a running back, in a bid to make the Rio Olympic squad for his paternal home country.
Hayne, who is a decorated former NRL player for Sydney side, the Parramatta Eels, has just recently switched codes and almost immediately linked up with the head coach Ben Ryan's men in London.
Hayne has been named in Fiji's squad for the London Sevens, after earlier reports that he may not be included, that were dismissed by Ryan.
The former Australia and Fiji league player will line up against England, Wales and Australia in pool play in what will be his only competitive hit out in the format before Fiji announce their squad for Rio.
Despite having played in one of the toughest formats of rugby, Hayne will find it tough to break into the side of the current number one team in Sevens.
Fiji can wrap up the sevens World Series by making the Cup quarter-finals at Twickenham.
