Figallo answers Argentina’s SOS

Argentina have called up Saracens prop Juan Figallo to their World Cup squad as a replacement for Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro. who has been ruled out with a leg injury.

Chaparro sustained his injury at training on Wednesday and the news was revealed via a press statement by the Argentinian Rugby Union (UAR).

"Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro suffered a tear in the femoral biceps of his right leg during training today and cannot continue to participate in the Rugby World Cup 2015," read the UAR statement.

"Instead, the coaching staff have called up Juan Figallo, who was selected for a pre-selection World Cup squad, but eventually left out by a knee injury .

"'Chipi' Figallo will be incorporated in the Pumas squad on Thursday, as he is in London, training with his club Saracens."

Figallo, has made a full recovery after he underwent surgery on his left knee in July.
