Taulupe Faletau could be heading to Bath, with speculation that he will leave the Dragons after the World Cup.
The Wales number eight has another year left on his contract in Newport but according to BBC Wales Sport he is on the verge of signing for the Premiership runners-up.
Faletau was offered a dual contract by the WRU earlier this season, but that offer was withdrawn in May and he is yet to agree a deal with the Dragons.
Bath, who released Carl Fearns this week to join Lyon, are apparently in pole position to sign Faletau, who has 45 caps to his name and was part of the victorious British and Irish Lions squad in 2013.
If the 24-year-old were to move after the World Cup, Bath would likely have to pay a transfer fee to the Dragons in order for them to release Faletau from the last year of his contract.
