The Highlanders have announced that versatile back Matt Faddes has put pen to paper on a new deal with the former Super Rugby champions.
The 25-year-old, who can play on the wing or at centre, has shone for the Dunedin-based franchise when called upon in recent seasons.
And the team has rewarded him with a new contract, revealing the news on their Twitter account, with Faddes thrilled to ink an extension.
“I am proud to announce that I have re-signed with the Highlanders until 2019, it was a childhood dream to play for these guys and it is a real privilege, so we will see you against the Blues next Saturday night,” Faddes said ahead of their match against the Blues in Dunedin.
