Eye injury rules out Deysel

Editor

Ulster have suffered a blow after Jean Deysel was withdrawn from their side to face Scarlets on Friday after sustaining a minor eye trauma.

The injury took place in training and the loss of the South African is a significant setback to the province as he has been in great form.

As a result, Matty Rea now starts at blindside, with Chris Henry moving to the opposite side of the scrum and Sean Reidy shifting to eight.

Clive Ross will take Rea's spot on the replacements bench.
