Defence coach Grant Doorey has joined Top 14 giants Toulon after his release earlier this year by London Irish.
Doorey was let go by the Exiles following their relegation from the Premiership. He previously worked alongside John Kirwan with Italy, Japan and the Blues in Super Rugby, from who he joined London Irish in 2015.
Toulon had hoped to employ Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards only for the WRU to block the move last month.
Doorey instead will join head coach Diego Dominguez and his coaching staff, which includes Jacques Delmas (lineout), Marc del Maso (scrum) and Steve Meehan (backs).
