Brumbies and Australia flanker David Pocock could turn down several lucrative offers to head to Europe, according to reports.
Pocock has been linked with a host of French clubs including UBB, Racing 92, Toulon and Toulouse, while Premiership big-spenders Wasps are also allegedly interested.
Understandably the Brumbies and ARU are making every effort to keep Pocock in the country after his outstanding season in 2015.
The 27-year-old is also considering a sabbatical to study according to the Canberra Times.
"He hasn't signed with us, but we're talking with him at the moment, as are the ARU," said Brumbies chief executive Michael Jones.
"Cheik was down midweek and had a chat with him as well about where the Wallabies are at and all that sort of stuff.
"We'll just keep going through the process at this stage."
