With the arrival of Marika Koroibete at the Rebels, Tom English is not worried about switching positions.
Rebels recent signing Koroibete is likely to play on the wing for the Rebels and to accommodate the NRL wonder English is happy to move from wing to centre.
"If it's wing or centre, I'm happy to do both," English told AAP.
"We've explored that option during the pre-season.
"With Marika being injured I have moved back to the wing. But it's important to be versatile and I would welcome that chance if it comes."
English is also adamant that it is time for the Melbourne franchise to hit their straps and ditch their Super Rugby newcomer-tag after playing in the competition for seven seasons.
"We're no longer the baby of the competition," English said.
"We've kind of hid under that label for the past few years but I think that's well behind us.
"It's no excuse for us anymore, we just need to gel."
