England head coach Eddie Jones is determined for his team to finish off their tour to Australia with a series whitewash.

Speaking after his team clinched an historic first Test series victory in Australia, thanks to their 23-7 win in Melbourne, Jones said he wants England to leave the country of his birth with a perfect record.

“We’re not going to be satisfied unless we win three-nil,” Jones told Sky Sports.

“Our players are already talking about it now.”

England captain Dylan Hartley, who scored the game's opening try, hailed his side's defensive grit and organisation especially during the second half when were only afforded 28 per cent of possession.

“We know that Australia are a dangerous team with ball in hand,” he said.

“Last week they scored four tries and hurt our pride.

“This week we put our bodies on the line and got some good shots in.

“We know Australia area a proud, proud team and we are expecting a big game next weekend.”
