Munster wing Keith Earls believes their PRO12 win over Ulster has given the team a huge boost going into their European clash at Stade Français.
The Irish province will run out at Stade Jean Bouin on Saturday in what is a must-win match, with Leicester riding high at Pool 4's summit.
Munster are currently trailing in third place by thirteen points while the Parisians are five points ahead of them in second, although both teams are comforted by having a game in hand on the pace-setting Tigers.
And on the back of a morale-boosting win at Ulster, Earls is determined to upset Stade this week and reignite their Champions Cup hopes.
"December was a tough month but there was a bit of a buzz back again after we beat a good Ulster side who are probably one of the best attacking teams in the PRO12," he told EPC Rugby ahead of the rearranged fixture.
"We're essentially into knockout rugby this weekend, lose and we're out of Europe so the pressure is on but we're excited by that challenge too.
"Stade have played a few more games since the postponed fixture date so we've done more homework on them again but I think the main thing is ourselves. That's what happened last week, we concentrated on ourselves while obviously looking at Ulster too, but the main focus was on us and what we needed to work on. I think the same applies this weekend, if we get our roles right then we can achieve good results."
