The Bulls have suffered a massive double injury blow as flankers Deon Stegmann and Dewald Potgieter are heading home.

Stegmann (groin injury) and Potgieter (bicep) were forced to leave the field during their first match on tour against the Hurricanes on Saturday.

Team doctor Org Strauss confirmed that both players would return to South Africa on Sunday.

Wimpie van der Walt will fly to New Zealand to replace Stegmann, while in a reshuffle among the forwards Grant Hattingh will move to loose forward as replacement for Potgieter and Victor Matfield will replace Hattingh as lock cover.
