The Sharks suffered a setback when it was revealed that flanker Jean Deysel will be sidelined for more than a month with an ankle injury.

According to the Durban-based franchise's official Twitter account, Deysel will undergo a small procedure on his ankle and is expected to be out of Super Rugby action for between four and six weeks.

Meanwhile, Springbok centre Frans Steyn and wing JP Pietersen were present at the Sharks' training on Monday after returning from club rugby in Japan.

Both players, as well as Bok back-row Willem Alberts, are available for selection for Saturday's clash against the Stormers in Cape Town.
