England prop Dan Cole believes that the national squad's training camp in Denver will give them some necessary mental relief.
Cole is fully aware of the mental pressures a home World Cup can have and England's need to keep their focus.
A veteran from England's last World Cup in New Zealand in 2011, Cole will be hope for a better experience this time around after England crashed out of the quarter-finals last time round.
England face pressure games against Australia and Wales in order to make the knockout stages with Cole believing that an escape from the 'bubble' will help their chances and forge a strong bond between the group.
"The mental side is as hard as the physical side because it is a home World Cup," Cole told the BBC.
"There will be lots of attention every day. Taking the squad out of the World Cup bubble will help get the bonds between the lads, because the teamwork and camaraderie will probably be what gets you through to the latter stages of the World Cup.
"The ability to manage your down time and get away with the family is important."
