World XV coach Robbie Deans sang the praises of Springbok midfielder Damian de Allende after Saturday's Test in Cape Town.
De Allende was in fine form and scored a brace of tries as South Africa secured a 46-10 victory at Newlands.
Deans hailed the Stormers inside centre's performance and said he should form a centre combination with Jean de Villiers at the Rugby World Cup in England later this year.
De Villiers has recovered from a serious knee injury and returned to action in the last 20 minutes of Saturday's Test when he replaced Jesse Kriel at outside centre.
“Damian has been playing remarkable rugby the whole year and he keeps doing the right things. He can add a new dimension to the Boks,” Deans told Netwerk24.
“It was also nice to see Jean on the field again. From a leadership point of view, he’ll be an important player at the World Cup. He and Damian look very dangerous together.”
