South Africa centre Jean de Villiers' move to Leicester Tigers from the Stormers is back on according to reports.
The former Springbok captain has long been linked to a move to Welford Road, but the deal appeared to be off when Richard Cockerill confirmed that Leicester were moving on in September.
However the Rugby Paper are now reporting that de Villiers will join the club, and link up with the side once he recovers from the broken jaw that ruled him out of the rest of the World Cup.
De Villiers is South Africa's most capped centre of all time, and also captained them on 37 occasions. He would arrive as a marquee player for the Tigers, who lost Anthony Allen to retirement at the end of last season.
