Veteran Saracens scrum-half Neil de Kock is relishing the prospect of facing his former side when Sarries host Western Province at Allianz Park next month.

The former Springbok spent six-and-a-half successful seasons at Western Province, and the Saracens stalwart is looking forward to facing the reigning Currie Cup champions on Sunday, November 9.

“It’s exciting to be playing against the South African sides once again,” De Kock, told Western Province’s official website.

“Personally, I think it’s wonderful fixture, as I haven’t played in South Africa for eight or nine years, so it will be a great challenge.

“I had six-and-a-half brilliant years at Western Province, it’s a place that is very close to my heart.

“Hopefully, we will be able to give them a good test and a good run at Allianz Park. Last year’s game against the Sharks was a great occasion.”
