De Klerk to captain Pumas against WP

Faf de Klerk will captain the Pumas team when they play against Western Province in a Currie Cup fixture at Newlands on Saturday.

De Klerk takes over the reins after team management confirmed that Stefan Watermeyer would not be available for selection this weekend.

What Watermeyer's absence also means is that Wilmaure Louw will now slot in at inside centre, while Jerome Pretorius will shift from the wing to outside centre.

Bernado Botha will then come back into the team, where he will compete at right wing.

Springboks prop Vincent Koch is expected to make his 50th Pumas appearance this weekend.
