Kings coach Deon Davids has named a mix of experience and youth in his starting XV for Saturday’s clash with the Jaguares in Port Elizabeth.
Davids has made four changes to his run-on team which claimed a 42-24 victory over the South Western District Eagles in a pre-season friendly on February 11.
In the back-line, Berton Klaasen comes in at outside centre in place of Luzuko Vulindlu while Louis Schreuder takes over from Rudi van Rooyen at scrum-half and Malcolm Jaer replaces Alshaun Bock on the left wing.
The pack is more settled with the only change coming in the second row where Irne Herbst is preferred to Sintu Manjezi.
In other interesting selections, captain Schalk Fereirra starts at loosehead prop while Lionel Cronje is named at fly-half and Chrysander Botha at full-back, while ex Springbok Waylon Murray partners Klaasen in midfield.
