Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has urged his players to remain focused during what is set to be a distracting Christmas period.
Cullen believes the next seven weeks will define his team's season as they are set to play four Champions Cup and three PRO12 matches during that period.
The first of those matches is against Northampton at Franklin's Gardens on Friday and Cullen conceded that his side face a tough challenge as they have a quick turnaround following Saturday's 28-15 home win against the Dragons.
“We start a pretty crucial block that helps define our season with four European games and three PRO12 games sandwiched in between,” he told RTÉ Sport.
“It’s an exciting seven weeks now, and it’s over the Christmas period where there are a lot of distractions, so it’s important that we stay focused.
“There is a very short turnaround to our next game on Friday, just six days until Northampton away in Franklin’s Gardens and we have to travel as well but there is lots to look forward to.”
