Crusaders head coach Todd Blackadder has revealed that Richie McCaw, Wyatt Crockett and Ryan Crotty will all feature against the Rebels.

The trio are set to be named in the matchday 23 as the New Zealanders hope to put a disappointing pre-season run of results behind them.

"Those three guys (McCaw, Crockett and Crotty) are definitely available but we are not certain what part they will play – some might be in the reserves, others might not," Blackadder told foxsports.com.au, with Dan Carter also expected to be involved in their squad on Friday.

"They shouldn't been too rusty, they are all experienced players and have been training with us for the last couple of weeks.

"It shouldn't take too much for them to make the transition."

Four players who won't feature for the Crusaders in Christchurch are Israel Dagg, Sam Whitelock, Kieran Read and the injured Andy Ellis.
