Crawford to make Rebels debut

Date published: May 21 2015

Former Waratahs wing Cam Crawford will become the 84th player to represent the Rebels after he was named to start against the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday.

Rebels coach Tony McGahan was forced into three changes to his starting line-up, as Tamati Ellison (groin), Sefanaia Naivalu (concussion) and Toby Smith (back) miss out, but flanker Scott Fuglistaller returns to the starting line-up.

Cruze Ah-Nau will make his first start of 2015 at loosehead prop after featuring off the bench in every match this season, while Tom English returns to the starting line-up on the left wing.

Dom Shipperley will again play outside centre, after playing there against the Blues in Round 13, while Japanese international prop Keita Inagaki is named on a Super Rugby bench for the first time and could become the third Japanese international to represent the Rebels.
