Cowan to captain Force

The Western Force have made four changes to their side that will face the Rebels in Melbourne on Sunday, with Pek Cowan to captain the side in the absence of Matt Hodgson.

Cowan will captain the side for the fourth time in his career as he makes his first start since returning from a broken arm and replaces Francois Van Wyk in the starting line-up

Hodgson is replaced by Chris Alcock who slots straight back into the starting XV having recovered from a knee injury suffered against the Rebels in the first round of the competition.

In the other changes, Peter Grant returns to the fly-half position while Heath Tessmann and Solomoni Rasolea will both look to make an impact off the bench.
