Clermont’s Ulugia out for months

Clermont will go in search of a medical joker after their hooker John Ulugia was ruled out for three to four months.

Ulugia has undergone surgery on a herniated disc after feeling some discomfort for several days.

The former Brumbies and Waratahs hooker will now undergo surgery this weekend to fix the issue.

His injury leaves Clermont a little short given that Benjamin Kayser is currently away with France preparing for the Rugby World Cup.

In more bad news for Clermont, scrum-half Ludo Radosavljevic will be out for six to eight weeks with a groin injury.
