Clermont coach Franck Azema has stated that Saturday's Champions Cup Final is not a revenge mission after their 2013 defeat.
Toulon pipped their Top 14 rivals to the title in Dublin two years ago.
Howeve,r there have been numerous changes in personnel since then for les Jaunards as they look to end a long wait for European glory.
Azema knows that Saturday's final might just come down to one key chance, but insists his side will be ready for it.
"There's a mix of excitement and concentration this week and the goal is to be as sure and clear in what we want to do as we can be," Azema told the EPCR website.
"There is no thought of revenge because of what happened in 2013. A good third of the team has changed on both sides and the way we work is different.
"Between that, and the fact that they refuse to take the tag of favourites despite being two times European champions and last season's winners of the Top 14, we get the feeling they are trying to take the pressure off their shoulders.
"It's their way of dealing with things. On our side, we have worked pretty well since the beginning of the season and we feel we deserve to be in final.
"We may get only one chance on Saturday, which is often the case in such big games, but we have worked hard all week to ensure we are able to seize it."
