Chiefs without Cane, Laulala

Date published: April 2 2017

The Chiefs will be without Nepo Laulala and Sam Cane when they face the Stormers at Newlands next week, with both out with concussion.

Openside flanker Cane left the field after three minutes against the Bulls while tighthead Laulala was replaced at the half-time interval.

Cane will fly out to join the squad on Thursday, with the Chiefs set to leave for South Africa on Monday. Laulala will remain in Hamilton.

Aidan Ross is named in Laulala’s place as the Chiefs look to continue their superb start to 2017 that has seen them win five from five.
