Chiefs wait for news on Retallick

Chiefs second row Brodie Retallick could be out for as long as two months after suffering a shoulder injury against the Crusaders.

Retallick withdrew in the first half of his side's heavy 40-16 win over their New Zealand rivals.

The IRB Player of the Year damaged his shoulder in a hard but fair double tackle from Matt Todd and Wyatt Crockett.

Chiefs coach Dave Rennie confirmed to reporters after the contest that Retallick had a suspected AC joint problem, although a full assessment of the injury was yet to take place.

At it's most serious, then Retallick may be back on the sidelines until May.
