Chiefs utility back Andrew Horrell has joined the World XV squad ahead of next weekend's clash with South Africa.
Horrell, a Super Rugby champion in 2012 and 2013, replaces Crusaders fly-half Tom Taylor, who has been called into the New Zealand training squad ahead of their Test against Samoa.
The World XV includes Springbok legend Bakkies Botha, New Zealand’s Carl Hayman and Ali Williams, and 10 of the group come from triple European champions Toulon.
The squad – coached by Robbie Deans and Bernard Laporte – assembles in Cape Town on Monday and they take on the Springboks at Newlands on Saturday, July 11.
