Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has named a 22-man preliminary training squad for the opening round of The Rugby Championship against South Africa in Brisbane on July 18.
Players called up were only selected from the Melbourne Rebels, Reds and Western Force as their Super Rugby campaigns have already come to an end.

The Reds, with 12 players, have the most representatives in the preliminary squad while the Rebels and Force each contribute five players.
Selected players will assemble in Brisbane from Monday 22 June and train out of Ballymore, before their first official camp on July 5 in Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Additional players from the Brumbies and Waratahs, who are still involved in Super Rugby's Finals Series, will be confirmed at the end of their respective Super Rugby seasons.
