Free State Cheetahs head coach has made one change to his starting line-up for Saturday's Currie Cup semi-final against the Golden Lions in Johannesburg.

Niel Marais starts at fly-half in place of Sias Ebersohn who was the starting pivot in last weekend's thrilling 34-34 draw against the Sharks in Bloemfontein.

Meanwhile, hooker Torsten van Jaarsveld who represented Namibia at the Rugby World Cup comes in on the replacements bench. He replaces Neil Rautenbach who wore the number 16 jersey against the Sharks.

The other changes on the bench sees Maks van Dyk and Ruan van Rensburg coming into the matchday 22 to cover prop and scrum-half respectively.
