Cheetahs change five for decider

Date published: October 7 2015

The Cheetahs have made five changes to their side for Saturday's crucial Currie Cup clash with the Sharks in Bloemfontein.

The backline is unchanged however Franco Smith has overhauled his pack, with Boom Prinsloo fit to return in the back row, where Niell Jordaan also starts.

Armandt Koster gets the nod in the second row, and up front Jacques du Toit and BG Uys start at hooker and loosehead respectively.

The Cheetahs currently sit fourth in the table heading into their final game of the regular season, with the Sharks two points further back in fifth.

That makes Saturday's game effectively a quarter-final, with the winners qualifying for the play-offs and the losers missing out.
