Wales second-row Luke Charteris is close to agreeing a deal to join Bath next season, according to Welsh media reports.
The 32-year-old who currently plays for Racing 92, in the Top 14, is set to join the Premiership club reports the South Wales Evening Post.
The 62-Test veteran graduated from the University of Bath in 2005 and is understood to already own a property in the city.
Bath head coach Mike Ford remained tight-lipped when he was asked at last month's Aviva Premiership launch whether the West Country-based outfit were interested in signing Charteris.
Charteris was in action in every game for Wales at the Rugby World Cup and is his strengths are his defensive and line-out work.
