Once again, legendary Fiji winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca has his bosses up in arms after failing to arrive in France on schedule.

Once again, legendary Fiji winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca has his bosses up in arms after failing to arrive in France on schedule.

“Caucau” was expected to arrive in Agen in Saturday having signed a deal to return to the club for whom he scored 65 tries between 2004-09. He has played three game in the ProD2 this season.

The Agen staff said that the 34-year-old Fijian was supposed to fly back to France from a break in Fiji with his family over the weekend, but never pitched up.

“We’re not happy. We have had no news from him since Thursday, but we know he did not get on the plane,” director of rugby Philippe Sella told Sud-Ouest.

“He now has all his paperwork, his visa problems and passport are resolved. It’s his fault if he didn’t come back […] This delay deserves a yellow card. It is even a big yellow card and it is up to him it doesn’t become red.”
