Harlequins fly-half Demetri Catrakilis remains in hospital after sustaining a small fracture to a bone in his throat during the match against Gloucester on Saturday.

Catrakilis sustained the injury in the 28-17 victory and was rushed to hospital as he was having difficulty breathing.

It has now been revealed that the South African has broken a bone in this throat and is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

It was Catrakilis' first start for Harlequins since joining from Montpellier in the off-season.
