The Vodacom Bulls are set to be boosted by the returns of scrum-half Rudy Paige and prop Lizo Gqoboka for Saturday's fixture against the Reds in Pretoria.

Paige and Gqoboka were absent from last week's victory over the Kings but according to team doctor Herman Rossouw, they could feature.

"Both of them healed nicely and they trained fully today," he said.

The Bulls, who sit four points behind the Stormers in Africa 1, should also have centre Jesse Kriel, scrum-half Piet van Zyl and flanker Lappies Labuschagne available this weekend, despite the trio sitting out training on Monday.

One player who will be missing for the next five weeks is lock Grant Hattingh after he had surgery on his groin. He joins centre Burger Odendaal (quad), full-back Warrick Gelant (jaw) and Handré Pollard (knee) on the sidelines.
