The Blue Bulls have lost flanker Jannes Kirsten after he was injured during their loss against Sharks over the weekend.

Kirsten injured his AC joint and could be out for up to three weeks.

Otherwise Bulls centre Jade Stiglingh is making steady progress with his ankle injury but is unlikely to get game time before the start of the play-offs.

Second-row Jason Jenkins is making steady progress with his injury and should be back in two weeks while Daniel Kriel will be out for the whole season due to his shoulder injury and will have to be operated on.

In some positive news for the Pretoria outfit, Neethling Fouché comes back into the side after recovering from a fracture to his hand.
