England have been handed a boost with the news that Mike Brown will be able to return to training after recovering from concussion.

The Harlequins full-back has not played since the end of the Six Nations, after suffering concussion symptoms following England's win over France in March.

Prior to that he had been knocked unconscious during England's win over Italy in Round Two, missing the defeat to Ireland before returning to face Scotland and France.

His return was pushed back after he failed to shake off concussion symptoms and in the end he was not able to play again for Quins before the end of the season.

He is now symptom-free however and could take part in contact training, although the England coaching staff will ease him back in slowly.

England will begin their World Cup preparation with a first official training camp on June 22nd however a small group of players were in Bagshot this week for individual strength and conditioning work.
