Former Springbok centre Brendan Venter will lead next week's coaching Indaba aimed at finding solutions to the Boks' current woes.

The indaba (Conference) has been formed to "plan long-term and short-term Springbok interventions to ensure that systems are put in place to aid the success of Springbok rugby" according to a statement released by SA Rugby on Tuesday.

CEOs and coaching staff of all six South African Super Rugby franchises have been invited to attend the two-day event in conjunction with Springbok coaching staff and former Springbok coaches and players.

The Indaba will take place in Cape Town on Wednesday and Thursday next week.

The Indaba is being facilitated by former Sharks director of rugby Venter, who played 17 Tests for South Africa, and former Springbok team psychologist, Pieter Kruger.

It will discuss current playing trends across a wide range of areas of game play and seek alignment within South African rugby on ways to ensure rugby excellence and continuous improvement to remain a top rugby-playing nation.

In addition, SA Rugby will be addressing longer term interventions to assist the Springbok team.
