Edinburgh picked up their second win of the PRO12 season on Friday as they beat Treviso 45-10 with a bonus-point at Murrayfield.

Damien Hoyland bagged two in the first-half, Hamish Watson and Magnus Bradbury also went over in a comfortable opening half for Edinburgh.

Jason Tovey scored three out of four conversions and Tomasso Allan got one of his own to make it 26-3 going into half-time.

Marco Fuser scored Treviso's first try early in the second-half and Allan converted. But two tries from Tom Brown, one from Blair Kinghorn and two more conversions from Tovey put the game out of Treviso's reach as the Scots went on to win 45-10.

Treviso were looking to break an abysmal run of form having not won away from home since beating Zebre 26-16 in December 2014.

Hoyland picked the ball up just outside his own 22 and showed blistering pace to score a terrific solo try just three minutes in. Tovey's conversion attempt just about had enough behind it to sneak it over the posts.

Edinburgh sliced through Treviso again just three minutes later this time through Watson, Tovey made it 14-0 with the conversion.

Allan opened his team's account with a penalty on the 20 minute mark.

Wave after wave of Edinburgh's attack crashed against a resolute Treviso defence but the visitors were eventually broken again by Hoyland. This time Tovey's conversion was unsuccessful leaving the score at 19-3.

Bradbury shrugged off a couple of tacklers and ran in Edinburgh's bonus-point try from 35 meters out. Tovey kicked an excellent conversion from the righthand touchline to put Edinburgh 26-3 ahead at the half's end.

Fuser got Treviso off to a good start to the second-half with a try, and Allan converted to make it 26-10.

Edinburgh quickly replied through Brown and Tovey once again managed the conversion from an acute angle. Tovey aimed a cross kick at Brown who collected for Edinburgh's sixth. Tovey continued his fine kicking form with another effort from the touchline to make it 40-10.

A buoyant Edinburgh side played well on past the 80 minute mark to find one final try through Kinghorn. Man of the match Tovey missed the conversion but it mattered very little as Edinburgh celebrated a thumping win.
