Ospreys boss Steve Tandy was left frustrated after his side failed to secure a bonus point in their 20-10 win over the Dragons on Sunday.

The clash between Tandy's men and mid-table Dragons was the second Welsh derby of the afternoon, played out in style at the Millenium Stadium.

And although the Ospreys had the better of the game, Lyn Jones' side stifled and frustrated their Swansea-based rivals.

“Credit to the Dragons, the way they defended, pushed the boundaries,” Tandy told the BBC.

“But ultimately I feel we should have been good enough to rattle up four tries.”

Indeed, despite dominating swathes of the match, the Ospreys trailed to a Richie Rees try before scores from Tom Habberfield and a late penalty try rescued victory for Tandy's charges.

With a place in the semi-finals slipping away from them, the head coach admitted his side were likely to need at least one bonus point from their final two games against Zebre and Connacht.

“We've just got to keep winning. We don't want to lose games now,” added Tandy.

“Everybody's talking about chasing bonus points. I do think we probably need one, if not two bonus points.

“But first and foremost we've got to get a victory, starting with Zebre.”
