Biggar making progress with injury

Dan Biggar has made excellent progress with his recovery following the ankle injury sustained against Ireland on Sunday.

Indications are that the injury is not considered long term and decisions over his availability this weekend will be made later in the week.

The squad return to training on Wednesday to prepare for their second Six Nations fixture against Scotland at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

Biggar was replaced by Rhys Priestland in Dublin and the Bath fly-half should be in pole position to start this weekend if Priestland is unavailable.

The other remaining fly-half option in the squad is Cardiff Blues back Gareth Anscombe.
