Zebre captain George Biagi has praised his side's defence as they secured back-to-back wins over Italian rivals Treviso over the weekend.
Their 18-8 victory came on the back of a 28-25 win as Luke Burgess and Giulio Toniolatti scored tries in Sunday's away derby fixture.
That was Zebre's third PRO12 triumph of the campaign and also a third straight success in all competitions, which is a first in their history and gives them plenty of confidence to take into the 2016 season run-in.
"It was a tough game against so many guys that we know, which is always a challenge within the challenge," a happy Biagi told PRO12Rugby.com.
"It was really important to come here and get the win, and leave Treviso without points in a derby against Zebre for the first time.
"We are happy with what we did; we put them in trouble with our defence as we did in the first leg. Treviso tried to play but were unable to advance, and it was a match where we defended really well.
"It was nice to hear the fans also support us so well away, and with the wins coming now it is nice to see the enthusiasm grow towards the team."
