Bayonne have confirmed the signings of Mathew Tait from Leicester and Tom Taylor from the Crusaders ahead of next season.
Tait, the former England back, joins the French club on a two-year deal with 38 caps to his name, including a start in the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final.
The former Newcastle and Sale player has rejuvenated his career at Leicester after a number of injuries and is still only 29.
Taylor meanwhile heads north from the Crusaders on a three-year deal starting from November 1st. The 25-year-old has won three caps for the All Blacks and was a Junior World Champions back in 2009.
Used at full-back and inside centre as well as fly-half by the Crusaders, Taylor's uncle and father both played for New Zealand during the 1980s.
