Bath and England fly-half George Ford believes his side are 'ready to go' for their tough visit to face champions Toulon this weekend.

Ford and his side travel to the Stade Felix Mayol to take on the triple champions this Sunday.

"It is a brilliant opportunity for us to to go out there and show what we can do," Ford told the BBC.

"We're all confident, firing, ready to go and can't wait to get out there."

Whilst aware of the threat that Toulon will pose to Bath in every area of Sunday's contest, Ford stated that last season's Premiership finalists wouldn't be afraid to go out on the attack.

"(Toulon) have got world-class international players from one to 23," he added.

"You can't switch off for one second against them – it's got to be an 80-minute performance.

"We want to go out there and attack and play the way we know we can but we've got to put out our best defensive performance as well."
