Ospreys medics have confirmed that Dan Baker suffered ‘no serious injury’ in Sunday’s Champions Cup win over Benetton Treviso.

The number eight was stretchered off and taken straight to Morriston Hospital as a precautionary measure after taking a bang to the head and complaining of neck pain.

He was discharged late on Sunday night after undergoing a range of tests, and other than soft tissue damage he sustained no serious injury.

After a couple of days rest he will begin his rehab at Llandarcy this week but will not be considered for Saturday’s game against Northampton Saints.
