Backline shuffle for Hurricanes

Nehe Milner-Skudder will make his first start at full-back for the Hurricanes in this weekend's Super Rugby clash with the Blues.

The 24-year-old Manawatu flyer impressed in last year's ITM Cup for the Turbos and gets the nod for Friday's game after appearing off the bench previously.

All Blacks winger Cory Jane is rested by Chris Boyd as the unbeaten Kiwi outfit take on the Blues, who are yet to win in four games so far this season.

Milner-Skudder is one of four changes made by Boyd, coming in at full-back to replace James Marshall, with Matt Proctor coming in on the right wing in place of Jane.

Hurricanes captain Conrad Smith is also back at outside centre, with TJ Perenara completing a revamped backline with All Blacks trio Beauden Barrett, Ma'a Nonu and Julian Savea all retained. The forwards are unchanged.

Motu Matu'u, Jeremy Thrush and Blade Thomson are all fit enough to make the bench.
