Saracens wing Chris Ashton could be playing his rugby in France next season according to reports on Monday.
Midi Olympique and publications in the UK allege that Ashton has agreed to join Toulon next season from current European champions Saracens.
The move would signal the end of Ashton's international ambitions with England, having last been capped on the tour to New Zealand back in 2014.
Ashton, 29, reportedly met with Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal earlier this month and would leave Saracens having won two Premiership titles and one Champions Cup title to date.
He is currently serving a 13-week suspension for biting Northampton prop Alex Waller.
