Ashe set to be sidelined for months

Glasgow Warriors loose forward Adam Ashe has undergone surgery on a foot injury sustained in the PRO12 semi-final loss against Connacht last month.

According the Warriors' official website, he underwent the procedure at BMI Ross Hall Hospital under the care of Orthopedic Surgeon, Bob Carter.

The 22-year-old is expected to remain on the sidelines for several months, with the aim of returning to action at the beginning of the 2016/17 season.
